This function allows you to import an existing list of email addresses (and names) in a standardised comma-delimited, one per line format.

When importing email addresses into your mailing list database, you have the option of sending a welcome message automatically (this will add the email to your autoresponse sequence), or without sending a welcome message.

The correct import format is:

emailaddress1
emailaddress2
emailaddress3

OR

emailaddress,firstname,lastname,address1,address2,city,state,zip,phone,fax,custom1,custom2,custom3,custom4,custom5,demographics1, demographics2,demographics3,demographics4,demographics5, demographics6,demographics7,demographics8,demographics9, demographics10

(the above is a single record, all on one line)

Note: When you choose to add the email addresses you are importing to the autoresponder sequence, the emails are processed and contacted at the same time. This can be a slow process as there are many decisions being made by the system when an email is built. The speed will vary based on concurrent server usage (from a low of about 50 emails a minute to several hundred emails a minute).
