Customers
can be added to your mailing list in a number of ways:
1.
A customer signs up via your online sign-up form,
2.
You enter the customer manually through your online control
panel,
3.
You import the customer details using the Import Email
List Data function.
When
someone subscribes using method 1 or 2 above, your welcome
message is sent out instantly and the customer's details
are automatically added to your database.
If you import the emails, no welcome message is sent.
