Can
I add emails without users receiving a confirmation
email?
Yes.
Use the "import email list" function.
Can
I remove the unsubscribe auto-remove link?
The
unsubscribe link is hard-coded into the system and
therefore can not be removed. However, you can put
a custom notice above the unsubscribe link by using
the "Add Email Unsubscribe Text" function.
What
is the header/footer text for?
The
header field is for inserting a message at the top
of each message that your account sends.
The
footer field is for inserting a message at the bottom
of each message that your account sends.
How
do I stop emails being sent to subscribers?
Simply
unsubscribe them to prevent them receiving your
messages.
Is
it possible to stop unsubscribe email confirmations?
If you manually remove them from your list, no confirmation
email is sent. Users always receive an unsubscribe
confirmation if they unsubscribe themselves.
Can
I send my own unsubscribe confirmation email?
No,
the unsubscribe email confirmations are generic
(ie. they are not customiseable).
Is
is possible to create my own unsubscribe confirmation
page?
No,
the unsubscribe confirmation page is not customiseable
at this time.
When
a user unsubscribes, their email address appears
to be completely deleted - is this correct?
Yes. If someone unsubscribes, they are completely
removed from your list.
How
many emails will the system send per hour?
It
depends on a number of factors, including internet
activity and concurrent server load. On average,
e-marketeer will send approximately 4000 messages
per hour on a basic server.
Is
there a maximum number of emails that can be sent
per day?
There
is no fixed maximum.
Can
I manage several lists within one account?
Only
one list per account is possible.
Can
I include web links and graphics in my emails?
This
is possible if your message is html and your image
is held on your website.
My
subscribers appear to be disappearing - what is
happening?
Bounces (invalid emails) do not show up in your
system. If an email address is invalid, it will
be removed from your account automatically.
If
large numbers of users are unsubscribing (you can
see unsubscribe numbers when you first log in),
consider changing your email content and/or format.
I
got a bounced email notification - why has it come
to me and not the online database?
Most
bounces come back to our server (in which case you
will not see them). However, sometimes the ISPs
send a "friendly" message to the sender, in which
case it will be sent to the email "From"
address.
Is
it possible to import a file rather than cut and
paste?
The
import uses cut & paste only. There is no facility
to upload a list in any other way. If you need help
importing your list at setup, please contact support.
